      Hi,

I just but second hand books from a friend whose kids go to school and I look at the topics for Filipino and AP and I teach them casually, and I prefer teaching them in story format 🙂

    1. admin says: Reply

      Hi Joanne,

Congrats on your decision to homeschool your son! I think you have to start first on being clear on your reasons on why you want to homeschool, and then research on the different homeschool philosophies to see which you want to implement in your homeschool, then decide on whether you’ll go independent or enroll with a Deped Accredited provider. Any comment with the abeka curriculum? I enrolled my kids since kindergarten and found out that abeka is not accredited with DepEd. I like their curriculum! Any insights? TIA

    1. admin says: Reply

      Hi Heintje,

I personally haven’t tried Abeka but have heard of a few who use them. You can still use the curriculum but you may have to enroll with a Deped Accredited provider if you want DepEd Accreditation.
